There are many ways of describing programming software. You can look at it as building a puzzle. Or writing a novel. Or playing a treasure hunt. Or raising a building. Or using lego to obtain a car. Or reading a "Where Wally?" book?

I think programming is all those things mixed together. It feels like someone asked you (and your team) to build several puzzles, using words from different dictionaries and where you hope the end result looks as you envisioned.

And some days, it can be quite a frustrating activity. Sigh.
