NYC!
L was on the East Coast for a few days, so I met up with her, A, and C in New York City. It was a fantastic day that started with breakfast at Sarabeth's near Central Park where I had my first Eggs Benedict. Absolutely delicious. Afterwards, we went looking for the Central Park Zoo but were scared away by the admission price, so we sat outside and people watched. After seeing our share of adorable babies and children, we strolled through Central Park and stumbled upon a tree house/gazebo like structure (pictured above). It was a great little oasis in the middle of the city, perfect for catching up with friends.
L and A had plans in the afternoon, so C and I explored the Bastille Day fair that was going on. It was amazing. A few blocks were shut down for the day and there tons of vendors selling enticing French food of all kinds. There were flaky pastries, pate sandwiches, crepes and more! Good thing I had a delicious breakfast, or I would've bought something from every stall! So many French people being beautiful and speaking French :)
We met up with L and A again for dinner at John's Pizzaria near Broadway. The prosciutto pizza was fantastic! I highly recommend it. After some shopping in Times Square at the fairly overwhelming Forever 21, I boarded the train and headed back home. Great day overall!
