Tickle me Pink!

I have seen this HUGE pink rubber ducky from a distance for quite some time now. And today I finally decided to view it closer.

The ducky you see here is right outside the entrance to Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom. Unfortunately, the ducky is inside the park and it costs $12 just to park! Well, I figured there had to be a way around that parking fee. So I drove up and told the attendant that I was a photographer and wanted to photograph the giant pink ducky! And he gave me a temporary parking pass! I guess it helped that I smiled really nice, too!

When seeing this from the street I had no idea that is was for Breast Cancer Awareness. As a breast cancer survivor I was tickled pink to see that! So if you are in the Allentown, PA area this summer be sure to stop by Dorney Park and contribute to the race for a cure!
