A child's response to the London riots.

We used to live in London (wood green) and have just returned from a two week holiday in the city, catching up with family and friends.
This is my 8 year old's response to what he's heard about the rioting from the safety of his home in Bodrum, Turkey.

I am sitting here saying to myself,
Come on I will save you from everything.
You are my friends,
So my job is to help you from the dark side.
Now come here and be brave,
Nothing will happen to you when I'm around now.
