Start as you mean to go on.

This is the first picture I took with my brand new diddy £50 digital camera.

I have never realised quite how often birds fly into windows. Here is one of many immaculate prints of feather dust from where pigeons have gone head first into the glass at my work.

This particular bird wasn't so lucky... four floors down there is an exploded pigeon surrounded by feathers scattered everywhere.

We are secretly hoping it was chased by an urban-nesting Sparrowhawk.

Unfortunately, it is more likely that pigeons are just stupid.
