Emily ... Saver of Lives

Emily is a bit of a superstar. She's a lifeguard at the local lido and saved somebody's life yesterday. An elderly man got into difficulty and Emily dived in and rescued him. Brilliant, eh?

She's dead cool about what she did. "That's what I'm there for!" she keeps saying.

Emily is working at the lido during the summer and then she's back to college in September. She's doing a Sports Science course.

The water in the outdoor pool was a bit chilly today(15 or 16?) and there was only half a dozen of us lunatics swimming on the 'early bird' (before 9). Its a great way to start the day though. Especially, with Emily looking out for you!
