Bats

Austin is home to the largest urban bat population in the world. Over 1.5 million bats live under the Congress Avenue Bridge. They come out each night at dusk heading South down the river ridding us of those annoying mosquitoes and the like. It is quite a spectacle to see. If you are ever in Austin make the effort. You won't be sorry.
