The Kirkyard

A quick blip tonight - just been down to the beach with Ollie and as we came past the kirkyard it looked so peaceful in the misty evening light. The kirk itself is in ruins, and the earliest graves there are dated about 1830, so it has a good history. There are some beautiful prayers and dedications on the stones, and some interesting names and dates. The people who have lived in our house over the years are all buried there, and we will probably end up there too - not a bad place to end up, great view of the beach!
