Rain is pouring from the sky and there's a blue light on a black monolith-esque staring at me. Blinking. Indicating. Lighting.

I'm glad light isn't a red LED dot set in s circular perspex and chrome bezel.

After another fun day of 18 miles on the bike (time for new rear pads, I think), work being a modicum of modern movement and some quality time with the weeWeir, I'm continuing in my efforts to get this LaCie Network Space to act like an Apple Time Machine.

Backups are needed, that's for sure.

Progress has been made: Time Machine recognises the device. Now to get the permissions right.
