Cookout, take 2

More cookout fun today! But before that...

This picture is actually from when I was sightseeing with my friend, who is visiting. We talked about how aesthetically pleasing it is, yet how confusing it could be for someone who doesn't know what they're looking at. This is a memorial for the murdered Jews of the holocaust; lots of big cubes/rectangular prisms of concrete arranged in a sort of garden-ish place. I thought this made an interesting pattern, so I photographed it.

We noticed that there was shadow on either side of all the concrete blocks, which was odd; usually it would only be one side, and sun on the rest. Maybe they designed that way.
