prickly pear catus

saw these today at the montezuma castle national monument (near sedona). i took lots of photos of the ruins themselves but they didn't look much different from those found in a pamphlet or through a google search. phoenix was loaded with saguaro cacti (sp?) but they phase out by the time you reach sedona. the prickly pear however, is a plenty.

grand canyon tomorrow... i'm so excited!
