Neeaaoooowww!

The title could easily have been 'Miaow' today.
We're feeding the cat of Mr and Mrs Next Door. Note I say 'we'.

Himself signed up for this task. How hard could it be?
He feeds a small dog on a daily basis. He's strict. It involves a sit and a wait. It works.

However, a pale and dishevelled form arrived back from the front-line on the first night of duty.
''It jumped right onto my HEAD...'', he said.
... ''From the FLOOR!''

(I can appreciate the element of surprise this must have created for a man whose family pet hasn't ever attempted anything remotely airborne.)

It was clearly still on his mind at bedtime. ''And, it's a REALLY heavy cat''.
A two person job from now on then! (I distract. Himself wears the balaclava).

I'm a day behind with my journal. And, worse, I'm days behind with comments. There's a lot going on at the moment. I shall catch up. Eventually. Many thanks to all who have commented. I do appreciate and apologise for my lack of comments.
