Aftermath

I dislike decorating! So, the best thing is to do as good a job as possible in the hope that it won't need re-doing again for some time.
This afternoon I have been dodging the raindrops by giving our bedroom a good coat of magnolia (I know!) and here are the brushes steeping until I have this done and can clean them off properly.
No Rona/Isla/Euan blip today. Ali & Phil came home last night and popped in to retrieve Isla. Although Rona is missing her wee pal, she is delighted to have her Dad & (especially) Mum all to herself again.
Euan is sprouting rapidly and is beginning to lose the baby-ness and look more like a wee boy. He is also starting to look just like his Dad, Phil.
The day started badly, weatherwise; pouring rain and the local news full of closed roads and delayed/cancelled trains. To cheer ourselves up, Mag & I went to a favourite local restaurant (Yum!) for lunch so will not need a big tea this evening.
