Cooking day

Rain again, and waiting in for someone to call (who as of 5.40 hasn't arrived) so I made the most of it by trying some new recipes. My daughter is v. keen on cooking and often gives me beautiful cookery books as presents. I feel a need to use them sometimes so here are some summer fruit brulees. They were quite easy and if they taste good I shall certainly make them again...but I think I might buy one of those little blow-lamps as it was a bit tedious using the grill (and nearly painful when the grill pan slipped!)
