Rain and Trains

Today was a bit of a non-starter. Got up early to go to work, my first train was cancelled so I missed my connecting train at Queen st station. Then when I got to Queen street station at 6:35am the 6:45 train was cancelled along with the 7:00am train. I was then told all trains were cancelled due to flood water in the Tunnel and I would be as well just to go home. I waited until 7:10 but no other announcements were made.

I faced defeat and made the two train journey back to my mums in the rain, only to hear the trains were back on by half seven. So it cost me a days holiday and I had to make the journey back through again to get home..........aagghhh!

Time for a nice hot bath and bed.
