Happy Christmas

What do you buy parents for Christmas?
Well obviously and overnight stop at an amazing 'restaurant with rooms' in August!
Absoulutely p*ssed it down all daybut at least we were in the car. Stopped at Chanonry Point nr Inverness to see the dolphins, as it was the perfect time (just past low tide).
Then a soggy 40 minute journey to Portmahomack to the fabulous Oystercatcher for the night. Why such a lovely place accepts wet dogs escapes me! The food is the most amazing I have ever experienced. My meal was Caledonian Ceasar Salad (had to give away the quails eggs) followed by Parton Pie (crab soufle cooked & served in a crab shell). My MIL had the brilliantly named 'Heavenly Peaches transcending the Flames of Hell' dessert!
