Chinese Silk Tree or Mimosa

Not far from my house is this lovely tree. It's the last one to get leaves and the last one to lose it's leaves, and in between, these interesting pink flowers appear. It's very tropical looking and is a large graceful tree. The blooms were up kind of high, but I managed to get a few shots. After hemming and hawing, I guess this one will do.

Do you ever get sick and tired of trying to figure out what to fix for dinner? I am at that point. Especially notice it in the warmer, summer weather.
