The sunshine after the rain

Driving to Milton Keynes for an evening out I came through some funny weather. It was sunny at home, grey in Olney, raining at Newport Pagnell and then clearing by the time I got into town.
Somehow, seeing a rainbow in the middle of one of the greyest places I've ever been seems odd, but nice!
It's been a long couple of weeks at work, with some challenging cases, success stories and sad endings, and it was nice to get out into the real world for a while. I've met some new people tonight, all lots of fun, and I'm looking forward to a long weekend.

I'm also a bit sad today as my landlord has decided to sell the house that is my home. More tomorrow . . .
