Frog

My footsteps through the grass made this frog jump and Jean, who was behind me, spotted the movement and called me back to see it. It was a large one, this one. I crossed the road back to the car to get my camera and in the meantime Jean had gently encouraged it onto the tarmac so I could get a better shot of it outwith the camouflaging plants that it had been in. Unsurprisingly, it didn't like the road surface too much and kept jumping along, incredibly fast too - I'd be looking through the viewfinder and then I'd blink and there would be nothing there. Did manage to catch one of it's rare moments of stillness though.
