Berries Already!

12th August and I spotted more than one tree and bush abundant with red berries..so soon?
Are we 'in for' a bad winter as is often said at the sight of winter berries if so given the hike in fuel prices its winter woollies and vests to the forefront of my wardrobe!

Haven't worn a vest in don't know how many years; having to wear both them and liberty bodices (anyone remember) as a child, I have absolutely refused to wear them as an adult....that may have change!
