IN COLD BLOOD

As myself and Marc were photgraphing the bird life in the harbour this afternoon we had to intervene to stop a 'murder'. Two Jackdaws had pined down a little Turnstone and were trying to peck it to death, feathers flew with the speed and savagery of the attack. The Jackdaws were making this terrible piercing sound during onset. After this shot I jumped in and chased them off, the little Turnstone made a full recovery!!!
