Finding Vivian Maier

Discovered, rather belatedly, the work of Vivian Maier. Well worth a look (www.vivianmaier.com). Born in 1926 and died in 2009, Maier worked as a nanny. She shot over 100,000 negatives in her spare time, mainly in Chicago and New York, but never showed them to anyone!

A young enthusiast secured some of her belongings, including boxes full of unprocessed 120 roll films, at an auction house and began a worldwide search for her work. Take a look ... some amazing images!
