The Place

We were attracted to 'The Place' shopping mall with the promise of an exciting food court - alas, not so spectacular, but moderately tasty. A time where having a native speaker, or our 'point-it' book would have proved invaluable! With me not eating much fish, and Anna a vegetarian, this will not be the first time we run into dining distress!

After we emerged from the basement food court, we took a wee wander around this esplanade, with lots of kids playing with semi-inflated frisbee/balloons (frisloons), and several, connected, giant monitors (I reckon about 5 long, flat ones and a curved one on each end). They played some interesting scenes, but the only one I captured properly was this dragon. The speakers roared as he spat out the flames. Scary.

On another note, I miss my G10! I'm back to my old Panasonic hand held for a compact camera (didn't want to haul my SLR over here for a few days)...and it is stifling! I hope I get it fixed!
