Took my grandmother today to get a photograph taken at a booth for a disability badge for the car.

It made me think of the rite of passage that occurs when photo booth photos are normally taken. New passports, drivers license, student ID.

The French film Amelie looks at the lost photos from photo booths and the non-descript moments that are captured for official records.

Its a shame we can't send our own photos, smiling, laughing, wearing funny hats.
