At last

To all you blippers with well established gardens this will be a pathetic scene. To Mr DV and I it means the start (at last) of a garden again. It has taken such a long time, it seems, to repair and treat the fences, remove a falling down shed, prepare the soil, mark out the patio and finally the first shrubs have gone in! I actually enjoy gardening very much so I am looking forward to really getting things going - it might take its toll on blip comments though!

I am very sorry that my good friend, Caged Bird has decided to stop submitting to blip. She is a great person with a huge heart and I will miss her daily comments very much. Although we have known one another for about 40 years it has been so good to have daily contact, instead of less frequent phone calls. Unfortunately we live far apart so blip has been a great link for us, still, she had her reasons. Thank you for all your contributions CB!
