My Perfunctory View

Tea for...five

Today brought a trip into town for afternoon tea in The National Portrait Gallery to celebrate Mary's departure from East London. It was lovely to catch up with the gossip from across the education world and reminisce about our time at UEL. After that (and a stop off at Nandos) took a quick tube tube trip up to Camden to see Teddy and Cami Thompson who were much better than I was expecting. The Jazz Cafe is a rather more intimate and less elaborate venue to listen to live music than other recent experiences but thoroughly enjoyable.
