Small dog, big forest

It was another grim weather day so we decided to go to Whinlatter forest so that we would at least get some shelter from the trees. It was very busy by the visitor centre but once we walked away from it we seemed to have the place to ourselves.
There are plenty of forest trails maked with coloured posts so we didn't need a map, and anyway we know the area well. It was misty and we found a part we hadn't been in before. Perhaps coloured posts are quite a good thing!
