getting ready to break

I got to meet someone four degrees of separation from me today. Another two more degrees and I'm certain I would've been eating pizza with Kevin Bacon himself.

Anny's friend from San Diego drove up for the weekend, and we met up with her for some excellent thin crust pizza at the Lanesplitters in Berkeley. Anny's friend brought along her friend from middle school, and then her friend brought along a friend from college. Very cool.

Dinner was tasty and the conversations were lively. I'm extremely glad that the pizza wasn't greezy, and even more glad that I got to stick to the whole 80% full thing (though I was being goaded to eat more). Abe, Billy, Bonnie, Rona, and Wayland were also there, so we had quite the cozy picnic bench (due to space issues, we had to eat out back).

After dinner, we drove to this really loungy and chill bar-slash-pool hall, where we knocked a few balls around for a couple of hours. It's always fun to cheer and throw out copious amounts of high-fives after crazy lucky shots... I will definitely buy a pool table when I get a place of my own.
