Preening

Well, actually this peacock's feather was shed a long time ago and has been decorating a dried flower arrangement in our home office.

This is a bit of an experiment: I just got a set of macro filters today and I'm learning what it is I can do with them (mainly, it seems, a lot of very blurry shots, which I guess could be called 'artistic' if only they were meant to be blurry in the first place...). I think I'll have a lot of fun getting up close and personal! ;)
