Searching for Catnip

She knows there's some in there somewhere, but it is suffering from winter neglect.

Two big snowstorms are predicted for Sunday and Monday, but the forecasters have been unwilling to say exactly where.  Unlike last time when the snow fell mainly along the coast, there will be no nor'wester to protect the high country.  I have prepared just in case we get it this time.  Extra kindling wood is inside keeping dry, the shovel and rake are on the verandah, markers are on the back path where there is a bit of a drop, leeks and carrots pulled, candles and gas for the little camp stove are at hand, batteries have been charged.  That should keep the snow away.
