My daughter woke up in the early hours to discover her boyfriends pride and joy had had paint stripper poured all over it. He had just spent 4 hours polishing and waxing to take it to the VW Festival at Harewood today. He was in tears. Not worth claiming on the insurance but they will now have to find the cash to fix this when they are already scrimping to set up their first home.

We have seen so much violence on the TV this week. Is someone emulating these mindless actions? Has he upset someone? Was this their idea of fun? Answering these questions will not change a thing really. We believe that Karma exists and that one way or another they will pay for their actions.

I suggested taking the car to the show in it's current state as there will be plenty of empathy from thousands of fellow enthusiasts. And just maybe someone has the facilities to help repair this for him. Fortunately I know there are also lots of lovely kind and helpful people out there. I hope he meets lots today. He really needs that right now.
