If I had to pick just one band to listen to for the rest of my life, it would without doubt be Talking Heads. Over the 23 years since I first heard their music, others have come and gone but all have been mere contenders.

So, fancying starting a new occasional theme for blips, I thought I use some of their tracks as inspiration, starting with the wonderfully different 'I Zimbra' from their 1979 'Fear of Music' album, an excerpt of which is here.

The photo? That's an SP in the (attempted) style of the thermograph of David Byrne used for the album.
