Making Your Mark
Years ago our children used to make their marks with crayons that we kept in a big round tin that we have hung on to.
For a few days I have pictured remoulding these crayons. As step one, a trip to Lakeland allowed me to buy a bendy chocolate mould. As step two, this morning, I spent a fascinating time melting down the old crayons with an electric paint stripper and then pouring different colours into the chocolate mould.
Behold the finished range of rainbow colours! Almost good enough to eat. But certainly ready to be used.
