Toots in Solitude

By Toots

Hello..

...new-to-me posh looking car, posing next to the estate gardeners immaculately trimmed hedge (this info for Mr Smith).

I have felt your gears as they glide with all the ease of a slippery eel and heard the sound of your purring engine and tested a few of your clever little switches and levers that play magic tricks.
I love you and bid you a very warm welcome and hope we'll see lots of beautiful landscapes together. I will try to protect you from the harsh snows that will inevitably fill some of our winter months.

Driving back from the garage at North Berwick I nearly did this car great damage with huge craters that have appeared in the roads, just narrowly skimming around them in the nick of time. If we'd fallen into one we might never have been seen again and wandered lost for years around Australia.
