Watching every move

Manly work was required this week to fix blocked drains. Joy. Each task was watched eagerly by older son and Batman! This was the only day when the work was done in the dry, I'm afraid Mr C spent a couple of nights getting a bit soaked. But each time he was cheered on by the next generation of handymen asking lots of questions why, how, what etc.

They are both always asking questions and will not settle for just any answer, and there is no point in trying as you know there will be another 3 questions on the same topic, at least.

I love to see how they take in a fact about one situation, think about it, store it way, turn it round and apply it correctly to something completely different. I know that's how life works but it is amazing to see it up close.
