Queen of the Night

This was an easy blip today. This is the queen of the night flower, "Selenicereus grandiflorus". (or that's what I've been told it is) It is a night bloomer and will only bloom for 1 night. So this is a big night blippers :D

I have so many of these plants, (I'm always rooting new ones it seems) Not all the plants will bloom this year though. Fortunately 2 plants have 5 blooms between them and they are all blooming tonight. It is quite a spectacular show.

PS. I'm considering myself an official empty nester now.. haha.. I did marvelous today and am as excited for daughter in her new chapter of life as she is.
