Pandanus Cove

This is taken in the Yuraygir National Park about 30 minutes south of Yamba and heading towards Brooms Head. This spot is in the Lake Arragan Camping Area which is run by National Parks and Wildlife Services. They supply wood and small fireplaces and pit toilets and the rest is miles and miles of very pristine bush and beach areas. We have camped here many times and just love the area. We should do it more often although I have got a bit soft these days. The cliff is aptly named Red Cliff but I always call this little corner Pandanus Cove because of the Pandanus Palms that line part of the beach.

We had lunch at Brooms Head which has a little place right on the beach called "the Snacky" that does great burgers, fish and chips etc. There are lots of great photo opportunities here with cliffs and rocky outcrops etc so it was very hard to choose just one.
