Alps
Another stunning morning in the Tekapo, weirdly, as the forecast is for the "storm of the century" (or thereabouts) to hit today.
So we packed up, which wasn't too much of a hardship as Hannah wasn't well, and headed back to Christchurch, expecting to hit snow.
But we didn't, and in fact as I type this at 8pm we're still waiting. Flurries, but nothing significant yet. Unlike many other parts of the country who are already blanketed - Queenstown, Wanaka, Dunedin, Wellington.
So this was the backup shot, as I expected a snow shot. And in the process didn't realise I had left it on 800 ISO, which has weirdly affected the image. Bugger.
