.....Morris The Truffle Dog.....

.....And John his master,who with his wife Sue own Lowes Mount Truffiere,just outside Oberon,an hour from Blackheath.
A very interesting day....out for a truffle hunt,followed by lunch which included everything truffle.....
The truffles are found amongst lines of deciduous and evergreen oaks and hazelnut trees.....Morris,who's been trained from 9 weeks to hunt out the truffles,scratches the ground when he gets the scent....then John follows suite,smelling the earth,and carefully digging.....all fascinating symbiosis.....
