Bohemian Rhapsody

Ildi and I spent two wonderful days in the South Bohemian town of Tábor, which we agreed was our favourite of the towns we visited in the Czech Republic. We even took a subterranean tour of the labyrinth of tunnels under the houses and streets. The cellars dug by the townspeople were subsequently interconnected.

Like other South Bohemian towns, many of Tábor's buildings feature ornate gables, many facades adorned with elaborate, colourful sgrafito.
