Girl

Today feels really long for some reason ... guess I managed to pack lots in for once. Have managed to get my new washing machine working finally and so have clean clothes at last. Buy a saw and chop down the tree that had fallen down in the front of the house ... it's full of thorns so it wasn't a nice job. The house looks bare now and the bush was beautiful so feel a little sad that its gone. The root has shoots and leaves still so I guess it'll grow back eventually. Have to make a trip to the dump to get rid of the logs (and finally get rid of my Christmas tree!). Get some shopping done on the way back and then head to Jules' where his mum is having folk over for dinner including this lovely young lady who was happily showing me all the snail shells in the garden.
Jules and I head out to Oxford for an expensive evening out ... two taxi fares, dinner at Loch Fyne and cocktails in a converted church.
