Apple tree

This tree is in our front garden, looks lovely but is very annoying as it drops apples all over the garden and path. Gary would have hacked it down by now but I think that's a bit too drastic.

This year it has grown like crazy, we've had to prune it back a couple of times already as the branches were quite low. Today we've raked up the carpet of apples on the ground partly to make sure they don't get walked into the house, which drives me mad.

I love the colour. Must try them again, they were really tart and inedible last time I tried one. And no, I'm not going to harvest them and brew cider or make apple pie - feel free to call round and PYO if you'd like to ;o)
