After the boat trip.

We were invited on a boat trip today to celebrate my boys' friend's birthday, (Henry, aged 9). It was amazing. The sea was that turquoise colour you see in the movies. It was so crisp and fresh to swim in. The kids spent the whole day jumping off the boat from ridiculous heights then climbing back up to go it all over again. The mums and dads were equally happy relaxing over a beer or a glass of wine. There really is no better way to spend a day here in Bodrum. After getting off the boat the kids had an upside down dinner of ice cream and waffles followed by toasties and kofte ekmek ( homemade mini burgers in half a loaf!).
This was the view from the car window just after the sun had set and the cannon had been fired signaling that fasting Muslims could now start to eat.
