Temple Tours

ok, so those of you who know me may well have noticed that the technical aspect of photography is not my strongest area - to be frank, since moving to digital I have never been that interested. I am much more excited by the compositional and other formal qualities of making images.

But, there are times like right now when this could really have done with being 'better'

I shall not dwell over this acknowledgement, but shall offer a wee bit of an explanation. Rudy's territorial relationship with pen and wall continues. He has, however, realised at the grand old age of 5 that if he goes anywhere near the walls in order to 'express himself' then we will not be able to praise his artistic impulses (my mother, an art therapist, would probably condemn this suffocation of his creativity) but, hey-ho.

So, Rudy is now making semi-permanent interventions using the medium of pen and post-it. Tried and tested by the greats, and a method that can be installed in a plethora of environments - anywhere that needs name and arrow, really. Well, in this instance it is our hall and the name and arrow point towards Rudy's bedroom and is for the benefit of our guests next weekend. Just in case they get lost in the labyrinth of corridors, doors and rooms that make up our residence.

Oh, and it's been a while, so a wee unconnected ditty - one that brings me calm on this evening before returning to my place of employment

afterthought: just noticed this is my 222nd posting. Does this mean that I am a third of my way to being some kind of satanic image capturer?
