Primordial.

An Irish band, fronting metal with Celtic over tones, Primordial gave an unbelievably awesome and totally professional performance. Just before I took this image the lead singer, seen here, lost his voice. Not just a little bit either; it went from dominating the sound mix to a painful, wispy croak all in the space of a few seconds. He apologised to the audience and left the stage for a bit while the rest of the band continued belting out some terrific riffs.

He soon returned to try again, but I must admit that I felt a bit relieved when he opted to get the audience to provide the vocals. I was worried he was going to do even more damage to his voice. Anyway, the crowd really appreciated it all and they showed their approval in the traditional manner at the end of the set.

Now at the end of the weekend. Three days of music shouldn't be tiring, but it is. Still, home tomorrow and back to my proper camera. Off to bed for a good nights sleep first though... zzz!
