On Loan

There are several reasons why this kitchen island is on loan from our neighbor Kathy.

1. Kathy's going to be gone for a week.

2. I promised to put casters on it for her.

3. I've been trying to convince C that an island would be the solution to her oft-lamented lack of counter space.

We've only had it for a couple of days but I've noticed C is using it a lot, and she says she doesn't want to give it back. I feel a project coming on.
