Victoria Bridge

This bridge spans The Tees just near my werk, it was built in 1887 and used to carry trams across the river.

There are shrapnel marks and bullet holes all along the parapet which were left during The Second World War, one bomb even crashed through the bridge deck but thankfully failed to explode!
