Double-crested Comerant

Normally the double-crested Comerants usually roost on rocks out in the ocean, today, this adult double-crested Comerants was resting on the rocky beach probably due to the hive waves that were hitting the rocks offshore. It allowed me to approach within 5 feet so I could get a very nice close-up picture of it.
