I'm sure it's not a far out concept in some cities but, for me, I find these bikes well worth a Blip. They are free, with a super market style coin deposit, to take and use for as long as you like. The square on the handle bars is a map of the city with places to take the bike back to. Quite a few quickly fall out of circulation but there are enough to be freely available for the most part. They are on the streets for the summer (ha!) months and are repaired by prisoners in the winter (darker) months.

Took this round the back of our block - easy. Put it in Topaz "Ghostly Dark" mode (also easy) - looked like this. I liked it.
