Spent 3 hours driving to Newcastle.
Spent 4 hours schlepping around in an attempt to take some half decent pictures for a job we are doing (apparently having a camera and having taken one half decent picture of my children qualifies me as being official work photographer, that and no budget).
Spent 3 hours driving back from Newcastle.

Did manage to shoe horn a quick mooch about the Baltic Centre for contemporary art. As always with me and contemporary art, I find much of it wonderful and some of it a pile of wank.

Whatever your contemporary art preferences, I don't think you can fail to be impressed when viewing the angel close up (not via the medium of this photo, which I may yet change)
